When it comes to Visa cards, the Infinite line are the most exclusive line. They tend to give some really valuable benefits, and there are only a few issuers that even have a Visa Infinite card in their network. UBS Bank happens to be one of those issuers. For a limited time, some people are being targeted for an all time high sign up bonus on their card.
Typically, the sign up bonus on this card is 50,000 points. Some lucky people are being targeted for a much better offer for 85,000 points though! To earn the 85,000 points, you must spend a total of $5,000 within the first 3 months.
Keep in mind this is a targeted offer. In order to receive it, you will have to wait for a mailer to come. These mailers are usually reserved for people that have an existing relationship with US Bank as well.
Visa Infinite Card Summary
The annual fee on the card comes out to $495, and it is not waived in the first year. As far as what you get for that annual fee, there are a few different reward categories to keep track of:
- 3x: airfare
- 2x: gas and groceries
- 1x: everywhere else
When it comes to benefits, here is what you can expect from the Visa Infinite card:
- $100 Visa Infinite Airfare Discount
- $500 Towards Lounge Access if you spend $50,000 within a year,
- Priority Pass Access
- Global Entry/TSA Pre Credit
- $250 airline fee credit
Overall, even at 50,000 points, that isn’t too bad of an offer. Depending on how you redeem the points, it can be worth 1 to 1.8 cents per point (if redeeming for airfare). So naturally, 85,000 points for the same amount of spending is a pretty great deal. Of course, it may be a little tricky to get targeted for this offer, as you have to be an existing US Bank member and theoretically spend enough to get to noticed for this card.
That being said, this is a Visa Infinite card. Other than the Sapphire Reserve, all of the other Visa Infinite cards give you a discount of $100 per round trip domestic when you buy 2+ tickets. Depending on your spending, that could be very invaluable and more than make up for the annual fee.
