All US Bank Flexperks Cards to Be Discontinued

US Bank is making a pretty big change in regards to some of its Flex Perk credit cards.

The Changes

Starting on March 9, 2020, US Bank will discontinue its Flexperk cards to new applicants. These include:

  • US Bank Flexperk Travel Visa (Consumer)
  • US Bank Flexperk Select+ American Express
  • US Bank Cash 365

The one exception to this is the Gold Flexperks; this card will still be available for a little bit longer. For those of you that currently have one of these cards, the portfolio will remain open, with no changes. This is only for those that are looking at applying for the cards.

Final Thoughts

Interesting to see US Bank discontinue its cards like this. I wonder if US Bank has something up its sleeve. I’m thinking they want to do something with the Flexperk program as a whole, I don’t think we will see any new Flexperk related credit card.

What do you think is the cause of these sudden closure of these cards? Let us know in the comment section below.
