I don’t mean to brag here, but I’ve just been so spoiled with the automatic overnight shipping some card issuers provide for their premium cards. I just get so anxious when I have to wait 10 business days for a credit card nowadays. I’m sure most people don’t care if they have to wait 3 days vs 10, but that time lost could be a big deal when it comes to having to meet the sign up bonus! After all, you’ve only got 90 days.
It would make me annoyed then, if I didn’t receive my card at all, especially if we are going much past the 10 business day timeframe.
Barclays is seemingly having problems processing some of their business cards once approved. It sounds like an issue with the automated system that actually creates these cards. This is being reported as impacting the Aviator cards, but I would be cautious of any business card from Barclays at this point.
If you have recently applied for a Barclays Aviator Business card, or frankly, and other their business cards, and you haven’t received the card within 11 business days, I would call in. It seems to be that the reason given out by some of the representatives has to do with verification of address. Still, representatives are saying they are overnighting cards once the address has been verified, so that’s not a bad way to go about a good-will action. Hopefully they are actually being sent out overnight and users can start meeting their sign up bonus!
