Are you annoyed with the recent regulation of having to pay sales tax on online orders? Fear not, for Synchrony and B&H have teamed up and created a new credit card that should solve this grievance!
The Payboo Credit Card Summary
The Payboo Credit card comes with no annual fee. The main selling point of the card is that if you live in a state that charges a sales tax, it will be automatically refunded on your order from B&H. Of course, that means that if your state does not collect sales tax, there would be no additional saving to you.
If you happen to live in: Alabama, D.C., Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming, you will not be able able to get a direct tax savings. However, you still may be eligible to get a discount.
Has your state started charging an online tax fee? If so, it may be worth looking into this card if you shop at B&H frequently, as you could really come ahead and save some money. If you live in a state that does not charge a sales tax, having this card would not really give you any benefit. Make sure to double check the lists of states posted above.
I think this is an interesting benefit for a credit card to be offering. Only being available at B&H, it has a really specific use though. I would love to see a credit card that would offer this sort of rebate for all online purchases, but I think that would be a real money loser for whoever issues that sort of card. Still, something to keep in mind is that with the type of things B&H offers, it may be worth considering a credit card that offers things like purchase protection or an extended warranty.
