Citi American Airlines Business 75k Miles Increased Sign Up Bonus

When it comes to American Airlines, there are a ton of different options you have when you’re picking a credit card. For starters, you could go either the Citi or Barclays route. Then from there, you could go either personal or business. If you are looking for a business credit card, this may be the time to apply!

The Offer

The standard bonus on the card is actually 40,000 points, which is just about half of this offer! The current increased sign up bonus will come with a 75,000 point offer for spending $5,000 within the first (5) months. With points being worth about 1.4 cents per point (TPG), that would be equal to $1,050 in value!

Card Details

The card comes with a $99 annual fee which is waived in the first year. For that, you’ll get a standard sign up bonus of 40,000 points (75,000 with this offer). The earning rate for this card comes out to 2x for: AA, gas, telecommunications, and car rentals. Every other purchase will net you 1x.

Other than the reward rates, the card comes with some other benefits including: first checked bag free (for up to 4 people), preferred boarding, and 25% savings for WIFI and food and beverages purchased in-flight. Finally, if you are able to spend $30,000 within a (cardmember) year, you’ll receive a companion certificate.

Final Thoughts

When you compare this offer to the regular card, it’s a no brainer. You’re getting just about twice the sign up bonus for the same card. It gets even better when you realize that the card will have its annual fee waived within the first year.

For those of you out there that have been considering this card, there is just no better time to grab this card. The added benefit is that it will not count against your 5/24 status being a Citi business card. Of course, you’ll have to make note of Citi’s own rules before applying.

What do you think about the business version of the AA card? Does this offer help convince you to pick it up? Let us know down in the comment section below.
