Citi Rewards+ 30k Offer (Targeted)

Have you been interested in the Citi Rewards+, but didn’t want to sign up because you didn’t think the sign up bonus was good enough? What if I told you there was a targeted offer that includes an all time high sign up bonus?

The Offer

This offer is a targeted offer, and in this particular case, you’ll need to check your mailbox. If you are one of the lucky ones, you’ll this tiered sign up bonus:

  • 15,000 Points, after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months
  • 15,000 Points after spending a total of $4,000 within the first 12 months

Card Summary

The Citi Rewards+ card has a $0 annual fee, but still earns ThankYou points. The Reward categories include 2x for grocery and gas for up to $6,000 per year. Every other purchase, or after passing that cap will be worth 1x.

The big feature of the Rewards+ card is that it offers a 10% rebate for all redeemed points up to 100,000 points per year. Unfortunately, the card has a 3% foreign transaction fee.

Final Thoughts

The previous best offer on this card is 20,000 points. Comparatively, this offer would then be 50% better. The biggest question you should ask yourself then, is the card worth applying for? On its own I don’t think the card is all that useful. However, the interesting aspect of the card is that it earns ThankYou points, which means you could add it to a potential Citi Trifecta. For both grocery and gas, you’d be earning 2x, whereas any other purchase only 1x.

What do you think about not only this card, but this all time high sign up bonus? Let us know down in the comment section below.
