If you have been taking a look at the Hawaiian Business card from Barclays, you may have noticed something different. For a limited time, we are getting an increased sign up bonus!
The Offer
The increased sign up bonus is broken up into two different requirements. The total number of points you could earn total 75,000 points. The first 65,000 points are earned by spending $1000 within the first 3 months of having the card. The remaining 10,000 points are earned when someone with an employee card makes a purchase.
Recap of the Hawaiian Business Card
For a $99 annual fee, you are getting a few different benefits. The reward category is broken up as follows:
- 3x: Hawaiian Airline purchases
- 2x: gas, dining, ad office supply store purchases
- 1x: everywhere else
In addition to the reward structure, the card comes with a few benefits. Every year, cardholders can earn an extra 40,000 points through a tiered point earning setup; 20,000 points for spending $50,000 on the card, and the remaining 20,000 points for spending $100,000 on the card. Finally, the card allows you access to ShareMiles, which allows you to easily share points between family & friends.
Final Thoughts
Interestingly enough, this offer is the same as the increased offer on the American Airline business Aviator card as well. When we take a look at just the Hawaiian card, this is actually the highest all time offer on the card. The previously high was 60,000 points, so this is definitely a jump! The card is missing some pretty standard benefits that other airline credit cards offer, such as priority boarding or free checked bags. Otherwise though, you definitely can not complain about an all time high signup bonus this time around.
