Sign up bonuses is one of the easiest and quickest ways to earn a lot of points or cashback through a credit card. However, sometimes it’s difficult to spend the money quick enough, and you’ll have to get creative. Maybe somewhere you wouldn’t normally think would accept credit cards, may be payable through services like Plastiq which can greatly help you reach a sign up bonus.
The News
When it came to Plastiq, a few months back, they would not accept Capital One cards in general. Now it is looking like Capital One business card holders will be able to use the services as before. The only exceptions of course to those looking to spend money on paying down their mortgage, Home Equity Line of Credit, Auto Loans, and Student loans
The other thing to keep in mind is that the personal Capital One cards will still not work with Plastiq.
Final Thoughts
I think it’s weird that these cards were banned in the first place. What is doubly weird is that the business cards are the only ones that are working, they did not lift the restriction off of personal cards.
Let’s hope for our Capital One cardholders out there that the service will one day be available again for you to hopefully meet any sort of sign up bonus that you may need. Speaking of sign up bonuses, this will make it easier to reach the sign up bonus on the Business Spark cards.
Let us know if you have been impacted by any way of the Capital One Cards being banned from Plastiq. Is there any other service you use instead?
