What’s in My Wallet: July 2019

Ok, so if I’m honest, I was doing a little bit of faking it until you make it sort of introductions here. After months of constant updates, I honestly don’t have any sort of new update available. Sorry, it’s just the nature of the beast.

Cards In My Wallet

  1. Chase World of Hyatt
  2. Chase Sapphire Reserve
  3. Amex Blue Cash Preferred
  4. Discover IT NHL
  5. Chase Freedom

  • Spend every penny on World of Hyatt

As far as the sign up bonus on the World of Hyatt credit card, I’m actually nearing the end. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m hoping that I can get my 50,000 points soon! It’s been such a long time of using this card exclusively, it’s a little bit of an odd feeling. Having so many credit cards, but only using 1 for every purchase… how surreal. Still, I think I should finish off the sign up bonus by the end of the month, or the very beginning of next month.

Next Card

I’m looking at applying for the IHG card next. The card offers a low annual fee. For that fee, you’re getting an anniversary night, plus top tier status. You can argue that the card isn’t that great otherwise, but I think it’s absolutely perfect the way it is, and want it for exactly those two reasons.

Final Thoughts

With the end of sign up bonus chasing coming up soon, I’ll have to remember how to use all of my credit cards again! But that’s exactly why you and I are both reading this article, right? Here’s to hoping that we finish up the sign up bonus, and start maximizing the rewards we get outside of Hyatt.

Have you ever been relieved to finish a sign up bonus, especially one that you cut close? Let us know down in the comment section below.
